Website care plans: your site runs, you run the business

Monitoring, updates, your Google listing, your reviews, and a dashboard that shows all of it. One person responsible for the whole thing. Month to month, no contract.

What happens when nobody’s watching

The slow leak

A contact form that quietly stops sending

Old hours on the listing

A site that gets a little slower every month

A security patch that sits unapplied

You know how a plumber’s website just sits there and nobody touches it for three years? Here is what that looks like from the inside.

A plugin update runs on a Tuesday night and the contact form quietly stops sending. Nobody notices for six weeks. Your hours change for the summer, the listing still says the old ones, and a customer drives over to a locked door and leaves a two-star review. The site gets a little slower every month because nobody compressed the last forty photos. A security patch sits unapplied until something gets in.

None of it is dramatic. It is a slow leak, and the only symptom is a phone that rings less than it used to.

Infrastructure, not campaign mode

Build

The site and the listing get built.

Protect

A care plan keeps it working.

Grow

Scoped separately, once the base is stable.

A care plan is not a marketing campaign. It is closer to the maintenance contract on your HVAC system. The site, the listing, the reviews, and the tracking are infrastructure that took real money to build, and infrastructure needs someone whose job it is to keep it working.

That is what Phase 2 is. It protects what Phase 1 built and keeps it compounding. It is not designed to chase traffic. When you want growth, that gets scoped separately, and it only starts when the base is stable.

Most clients stay here for years. That is the point.

What’s in a care plan

Site upkeep

Core, theme, and plugin updates, tested before they go live. Nightly backups stored off the server, with a restore I have actually practiced. Uptime monitoring that pages me, not you. Security scanning. A speed check every month, and the images and caching that keep it fast.

Google Business Profile stewardship

Hours, services, attributes, photos, and categories kept accurate. On the full engagement plan, the listing also stays alive: monthly posts and customer questions answered. A listing that moves ranks better than one that sits.

Citations and rank tracking

Your name, address, and phone number checked across 50-plus directories, with disagreements fixed as they appear. Keyword positions tracked by location every week. Competitor movement flagged when someone jumps you.

The dashboard and the monthly report

A login you can open any time: rankings, reviews, citations, listing activity. Once a month, a report written in sentences: what moved, why, and what happens next. If nothing moved, it says that too.

See it happening

A login you can open any time: rankings, reviews, citations, listing activity.

You do not have to take my word that the work is getting done. You can look.

Three website care plans, in the order most people choose them

Active management

$645 / month

This is where most clients land. Everything in a care plan, plus small content changes as the business changes (a new service, new hours, a seasonal offer), proactive refinements when the data says something could work better, and email support answered within 48 hours. The site gets a little better every month instead of a little worse.

Stability and monitoring

$350 / month

For a site that is already doing its job and needs protecting, not pushing. Upkeep, backups, monitoring, citation checks, listing accuracy, the dashboard, and a check-in each quarter. No proactive changes, no monthly report. Owners pick this during a slow season or when the business is steady.

Full engagement

$1,125 / month

For the owner who wants the whole system run for them. Everything in active management, for up to two locations. Monthly posts on your Google listing, and customer questions answered. Review replies written for you, with a same-day alert and a drafted reply when a bad one lands. Up to three competitors tracked for reviews and rank. The full reputation dashboard, a response within 24 hours, a call each quarter on what moved and what is next, and consulting when you want a second opinion.

The $350 and $645 plans are per location. The $1,125 plan covers up to two locations, and each added metro is $200 a month. All three are month to month. Growth work (ads, new suburbs, new markets) is separate, scoped on its own, and only starts when the base is stable.

Who this is for

The owner who wants it handled

The owner who paid for a site and does not want to think about it again. You have a business to run. You want the website to be like the truck: maintained by someone who knows what they are doing, and not on your mind unless something is wrong.

The owner whose web guy disappeared

Also the owner whose web guy disappeared. The site is up, nobody has the logins, and every plugin is two years behind. That is a common starting point and it is fixable. Sites I didn’t build can join a care plan after a short review.

Move between plans with 30 days notice

No contracts. Step down to $350 for a slow season. Step up to $645 when you are ready to push again. Stop entirely and keep everything, because it was always in your name.

Common questions

Who maintains my WordPress site?

I do, under a care plan. Updates, backups, monitoring, and the listing, with a dashboard so you can see it happening. If nobody does it, the site leaks slowly until the phone stops ringing.

What does a care plan cost?

Most clients land at $645 a month for active management. There is a $350 option for stability and monitoring only, and a $1,125 full engagement where I run the whole system for you, for up to two locations. All month to month.

Do I own my website?

Yes. Domain, hosting, files, listing, all in your name. A care plan does not change that. If you stop, you keep everything.

Start a care plan

Fifteen minutes. I look at your site and your listing while we talk and tell you what needs attention first. If you already have a site that works, the $350 plan can start this week.
